Description
Designed from the start with thin, small, modular components in mind, this cloth is the pinnacle of FDM hard body mesh fabric design! Measuring at a measly 2.4mm tall at 100% scale, the cloth provides ample flexibility while providing a nice, flat surface.
At 100% scale, the individual links are small enough that you can achieve a cross-stitch pattern effect for pixel art. At 50% scale, you can get much much more granular. I have not had a chance to print it at this scale yet.
Each unit of the cloth is designed to give out after enough force has been applied, so that it does not permanently disfigure. It takes quite a lot of force, though, so the cloth can be handled normally. Multiple cloths can be snapped together in this way, to achieve unique and complicated geometry. Additionally, you can print hard body attachments to affix the cloth to wearable, decorative, or mechanical components.
I have published this item with Public Domain licensing. That means you are free to change, modify, and publish your creative pursuits without mentioning me. However, you should note, I publish under this license only so that people can do anything they want without worrying about legal consequences. I would appreciate you listing yours as a remix or a shout out at the very least.
Print Settings
120mms Max Speed - You don't want to knock one of these off the build plate :(
0.1 mm Layer Height - Gives you a nice smooth print that is loose fitting. 0.2 is possible but you have to work it a little before it gives you that cloth effect.
0.4 mm Perimeter Width - On all settings, This gives you the precise width that I have modeled into the cloth.
Elephant Foot OFF - I have modeled it with an effective elephant foot compensation which accounts for the perimeter width.

Included
Coaster size, which works great! It's fun, easy to store away, and effective. This prints in about two hours.
Mini size, which fits inside of a 180mm build volume.
Regular size, which you may have to select and remove some links from to get it to fit on your Prusa.
