Description

The M5Stack ATOM is a small device that can be used to voice control your home automation. (would not recommend it as a speaker)
I use it for Home Assistant.

Recently I started building very nice monitor riser systems with Deskware and marked a nice spot for this little device.

As it is a small and light device, the attached cable is has more weight and can easily topple the device.

So the design is a tight fit to hold it steady.
Using two Gridfinity units instead of one makes sure the cable does not lift the setup out of the grid.

At the front I gave the microphone opening an extra rounding to gather more sound and it will be less directional.

It has a magnet base, but I do not recommend using magnets in the front part that holds the unit, as magnets can influence the working of a microphone. Using magnets in the cable support part should not be a problem.

However I did find the use of magnets is not needed at all for the flexible cable I use.
