Inspired by mass market products that aim to do similar things I created the Clampanion. It's a print in place (fully 3d printable) helping hand for makers that can hold PCB's, wires, small boards, or anything small you need for precision working.

Features:

  • Fully 3D Printable (No hardware needed)
  • Adjustable Clamp Direction
  • Print in place parallel clamp (no assembly for clamp)
  • Compliant spring mechanisms
  • 360 swivel base
  • Only 10g

Print settings:
Recommendation: Use my print profile

Layer Height: 0.08-0.12

Outer Wall: 0.3 mm

Walls: 2

Infill: 20% Gyroid
Support: Small support on the tip for cleaner prints

Plate: Recommended use of Cool Plate SuperTack if you have it but any will work

Looks good, but maybe not that practical, since after using it only for a short while, the gripper bent immediately and spring loss it spring and didnt recover.

Could not get the spring part to print at all tried 4 times and it kept coming lose from the bed, one time causing a big blob on my hotend. The other two parts printed just fine. Think the speed on this is slightly too fast.
