Description

This model was designed on Tinkercad. It is a miniature replica of the Wright brother's plane, specifically the Flyer 1. This plane was finished and flown in 1903.

The model is split into two separate pieces in order to minimize the amount of supports required for printing. The first file (Wright Brothers Flyer 1 - Assembled Model) is the model before it is split in half, this is to provide a visual. Printing this file would be very difficult because of all of the supports required. Printing the two separated halves is the most efficient and uses much less filament for supports. The model should not be scaled down because of the thin trusses.

Extremely fragile… ended up breaking the supports for the front rudders…maybe I need smaller fingers!🤣Ended up enlarging to 150%, Much stronger...and honestly, a better print all around.
