Summary
Want a tiny fidget grenade at your fingertips? This model is a "working" tiny replica of the famous WW2 Mk2 Pineapple grenade. It works just like the real thing in that you can pull the pin, release the handle, and it will fly off. There's an optional keychain attachment too.
Assembly is super simple, just insert a spring from a pen/pencil and then screw on the printed top.
- Almost all pen/pencil springs work that I tested
- Any 4mm (or smaller) diameter spring (like a pen spring) works
- I recommend you cut the spring to 10mm (~0.5inch) so that it fits better and you get 2 springs for more grenades :-)
- If you don't have a pen spring, (Amazon link) has a spring that's exactly the right size, or you can get a Bambu spring linked down below.
Bambu Filaments used:
- Matte Dark Green
- Matte Yellow
- Metal Copper
- Silk+ Silver
If you are looking for a life-size Mk2 Grenade, you can get that here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/913462
Here's some assembly instructions in case it helps:
1. Insert the little peg into the top and insert the spring into the grenade top

2. Then screw the top onto the grenade (I found it easiest to do sideways)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below. Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble. It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)
