Description

After getting my H2D, I needed a way to extend the chute below the printer.  Can up with this setup which allows you to connect the pipes together without glue or screws.  You will need to glue the magnets into the base and plate.  You can make the chute as long as you need.

Features:

  1. Magnetic mounting plate screws directly over the chute of the printer giving you perfect alignment and easy removal.
  2. The tubing can be wedged together to provide any length you need.

Process:

  1. Print test model to make sure the magnets fit due to different filaments.
    1. I used this glue from Amazon.  Associates Link, https://amzn.to/3JsFfgh
  2. Super Glue 8x3 magnets into the base and plate. Make sure of the polarity!

    2. I was able to use the screw that came with the printer and placed the base on the printer.
  3.  Print as many tubes as you need to put them together, connect the tube to the chute and you’re done!
