Description
The JURA Impressa C60/C65 automatic coffee machine features a compartment for ground coffee or cleaning tablets. This compartment is also ideally suited for air drying the machine after brewing, preventing mold growth. While leaving the compartment lid ajar facilitates this drying process, it risks accidental contamination and obstructs access to the power button.
Consequently, I have designed a grid, or rather, a modified cover for the ground coffee hopper. This allows for slight lid ajarment, ensuring sufficient air circulation while maintaining convenient access to the power switch.

The JURA Impressa C60/C65 fully automatic coffee machine has a compartment for adding ground coffee or inserting the cleaning tablet. This compartment is also ideal for "airing out" the coffee machine, i.e., allowing the moisture generated during preparation to dry out. This helps prevent mold from forming inside the machine. You can generally leave the lid of the compartment open for this purpose, but this runs the risk of accidentally dropping or getting things in there that don't belong there. Furthermore, the power button is difficult to reach with the lid open.
I therefore designed a grid for this compartment, or rather, the cover of the ground coffee hopper. This ensures that the lid stays open slightly, allowing air to circulate, and still allowing easy access to the power button.
