Description

Raise your Poäng chair just enough to prevent your robot vacuum (e.g. Roborock Q Revo) from climbing and getting stuck. These minimalist risers snap on easily and blend into the frame. No need to disassemble the chair.

This 3D-printable riser set is made for the IKEA Poäng lounge chair and solves a surprisingly common issue: robot vacuums trying to climb the curved wooden feet, only to get stuck underneath or throw navigation errors.

🛠 Use Cases:

  • Prevents robots (e.g. Roborock Q Revo) from climbing onto the chair legs and getting stuck
  • Lets the vacuum clean underneath and around the chair without exclusion zones
  • Avoids the need for furniture rearrangement or rubber bumpers (I tried some bumpers on my Roborock Qrevo, but they've just fallen off)
  • Tested with default Print Profile for persons weighting over 120 kg.

🔧 Mounting Options:

  • 🧲 PETG prints are slightly flexible and allow for snap-on installation – no need to disassemble the chair
  • 🔩 4 mm holes allow screws from any direction, for secure mounting
  • 🧪 Permanent fix possible using superglue (only recommended for older chairs or permanent use)

💡 Note: These risers do not create enough clearance for the robot to drive under the chair – but they do stop it from getting stuck or lifting the legs by force. The robot bumper simply detects the riser and navigates around it.
