Description

"Clamp" for holding the pool cover in place

→ NEW ONE: Pool beam holder for overwintering

→ NEW ONE: Bigger version for bigger pool pipes with 58mm diameter

Problem:

When covering the pool, the tarpaulin keeps coming off the edge.

Goal:

This problem is to be prevented in the future by using a special clamp.

Solution:

The clamp is simply pressed onto the crossbar when the tarpaulin is laid down and positioned there. This reliably secures the tarpaulin, preventing it from slipping.

Choice of material:

ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic ester) was chosen for the production of the clamp. This material is very suitable for 3D printing, offers high mechanical strength and is dimensionally stable - ideal for outdoor use.

Design features:

  • Stable clamping effect for secure fixing of the pool tarpaulin
  • Easy to attach and remove without tools

Best printing material for outdoor areas:

  • ASA
  • ABS
  • PETG

You can find detailed information on choosing the right material for your prints here: https://filamentworld.de/filamentfinder/

Note:

I accept no responsibility if something does break at the pool due to the clamp. Use it at your own risk!

Hello. If you are experiencing adhesion problems on the print bed, I recommend using isopropyl alcohol for cleaning. Alternatively, you can open the print profile in Bambu Slicer and activate additional bed adhesion settings. I experienced no adhesion issues.
