Description

This is a reinforced replacement connector piece for the toy arm of the MamaRoo Baby Swing—designed to address a common break point in the original part. The print features solid internal structure (no hollow sections) for added strength and longevity.

Two print versions included:

  1. Vertical Print Version:
    • Prints with internal (insert) side down
    • 2 wall loops
    • 25% gyroid infill
    • Tree supports enabled
    • Faster print, less material, still strong for regular use
  2. Angled Print Version:
    • Prints on an angle for optimal layer strength
    • 4 wall loops
    • 25% gyroid infill
    • Standard supports enabled
    • More robust for high-stress use

After printing, you’ll need to drill out the connector opening with a 1/4" drill bit. Only drill in slightly—about 1/4" deep—to allow the part to fit properly onto the post inside the MamaRoo base (for units where that internal post is still intact).

Choose the version that best suits your print setup and strength needs. Tested with PETG HF and PLA+.

The part that goes into the mamaroo base is missing a hole for proper alignment. I was able to drill a hole and make the print work.
