Description

I like what Jhubbard0071 did for playing cards so I went a bit further and put some others together for other games. I'm hoping to use the double insert holder while outdoors with the higher walls so the cards don't blow away. I've make Phase 10, Uno, and Skip-bo so far.

Note: I did add some negative parts to the clip latches since they were a tad difficult to open up once closed. The bit I took off seems to have done the trick but, time will tell as they get used more.

This is an exceptional print file. I love it and am going to print boxes for all of our card games. The latches are pretty tight but I am sure they will loosen a bit as the boxes get used more. Thanks!!

I put some negative boxes on the latches. You can move those to take a little more off the latch snap to make it a bit easier. Of course the trade off is snugness vs accidental discharge. :-)

I printed all three games (I previously posted the UNO box) and the print files are wonderful. The cards fit perfectly and the trays inside are an exact fit. I had printed an extra bottom box when I did the UNO box so I used it for the Skip-Bo set giving each box it’s own outer profile for a quick grab if I can’t see the top. I may print another Skip-Bo box to match the current colors of Skip-Bo cards. I would recommend printing this file if you need a card storage box. Thanks for offering this print profile!

I pressed submit too soon. I ran out of filament and had to substitute brow but it ran out at the perfect spot to make it look like an intentional color change. Thanks again for a nice print file.

so my box does not close with the card holder inside. Has anyone else had that problem with this print?

It is a close fit so make sure there isn't anything else in the box. Having it close to the lid keeps the cards in their spot in storage. If it is too tight, you could always shrink the Z axis of the card holder so it is a tad shorter by however much is needed. Not sure other than that. I've printed about 10 of these and they have all worked fine.
