AMS 2 Pro Lid Side Desiccant Pods

- 10x3mm round magnets x 28: 9.95mm x 2.70mm
Description
The AMS 2 Pro lid has a slightly different shape than the original AMS. These pods will work with both AMS types.
Holds ~100 grams desiccant per pod.
Quantity of 28 10x3 magnets (9.95mm x 2.70mm) are recommended to secure pods to the lid.

Mesh surfaces are generated in the slicer by setting the Bottom layers to zero (0). The actual mesh is controlled by the sparse infill settings. See screen shot of my settings in photos.
Assembly Guidance
- Print 2 pod halves. Select only one of the 2 ID sides provided. ie with partition or without partition
- Stack the magnets to ensure same polarity. Gently press 7 magnets into each OD side and the disk holders
- Place the ID side opening up on a flat surface with a brim eg baking sheet, large plate. Pour silica beads til full. Use a straight edge to level the beads.
- Place the OD side on top of the now full ID side. Press the 2 sides together until fully seated. Massage the clips while holding the halves together to ensure maximal engagement.
- Place pod assembly inside AMS with magnets facing out
- Apply individual magnets on the outside of the AMS lid
- Align the pod assembly bottom to be flush with the lid edges
- Close lid and inspect for any issues
