Description
this is an ofuda stand, but, what's ofuda?
An ofuda (お札 or 御札) is a type of sacred talisman or amulet in Japanese religious tradition, particularly in Shinto. It is usually made of paper, wood, metal, or cloth, and bears the name of a deity (kami) or a Shinto shrine.
It is consecrated at a Shinto shrine.
It is believed to contain the protection or blessing of the deity to whom it is dedicated.
