The Black Knight is a heavy mech known for its sleek design and brutal laser-focused loadout. A staple of elite units in the BattleTech universe, it combines durability, solid mobility, and reliable firepower into a fearsome battlefield presence. Its tall frame and imposing silhouette make it a centerpiece in any Inner Sphere force.

This model was a surprise hit in testing – it printed extremely well using a 0.4 mm nozzle with a 0.8 mm layer height. The cuts are designed to minimize support use, and the result is a clean, solid print with sharp details.

Assembly Instructions:

Note: Dry-fit the arms before final assembly. I had to trim some pegs on the torso to get a proper fit.

  1. Carefully remove supports from the legs. I had no scarring, but the supports are thick and could snap with the leg if stressed during cleanup.
  2. Glue the two torso halves together.
  3. The head is loose and will fall off – glue it back in place.
  4. Attach the torso to the legs.
  5. Glue the left arm (whole piece) to the torso.
  6. Glue the right arm shoulder to the torso.
  7. Glue the right forearm to the shoulder.
