Description

Spool Cap

Print 2 “Spool-cap M10” and assemble with a M10 threaded rod 12-15 cm long
OR
Print 2 “Spool-cap M8” and assemble with a M8 threaded rod 12-15 cm long

Spool holder - It needs 4x 608Z (8x22x7 mm) bearings. 

Print 2 base, 2 frame and 2 roller

I only used a spool holder, and it worked fine, but it seems to be a little fragile. I used it to re-spool two 1kg spools from one 3kg spool, and after this, I found some grooves on the rollers. I made the spool holder from PETG, so the material is rather durable. Anyway, this is a fine design for home use and occasional re-spooling. Thanks to the author for sharing it with others.
