Description

Introducing my 3-in-1 Travel Set: Case, Table, and Coffee Station!

This kit is designed for a wide range of scenarios: fishing, hunting, hiking and more.

Although it was originally developed for the OutIn Nano coffee machine, I’ve made sure it can be used in other contexts as well. The dedicated cutout for the coffee machine is removable — so if you don’t have one or don’t want to include it inside, you can use the main compartment for personal items instead, such as a lunchbox. But honestly, you’ll know better than I do how this product will best suit your needs.

All branded elements like “OutIn” and “Bambu Lab” are included in the model as negative print features. If you prefer a clean look, just delete them before printing.

The case has four external-access compartments that remain accessible whether the box is folded or unfolded. Secure latches prevent accidental opening, so your contents stay safe and protected. The whole unit feels solid and seamless in both the folded and unfolded states.

The legs of the built-in table are angled at 10 degrees, which adds stability. They also snap securely into place when stored, so they won’t fall out when opening the box.

Some of my competitors have released similar utility tables, but my version is 2 to 3 times lighter and significantly faster to print.

Inside, you’ll also find dedicated spaces for charging cables, keys, cash, and more — again, how you use it is entirely up to you.

This project took me nearly two weeks of work — 15 hours a day, no days off — but I’m extremely happy with the final result.

As for the design, I spent a long time deliberating — in the end, a camouflage theme felt like the most suitable. Every part is fully customizable, and you can print it in any color! Don’t have an AMS? No problem — just remove all color-specific elements and print in a single color. This won’t affect the product’s functionality, though your table will be about 0.4 mm smaller on each side.

The entire print requires no support structures, and no glue is needed during assembly, which is a big plus.

Important note: the springs.
Before inserting them into the cartridge, you must pre-compress the springs. This helps the plastic "learn" its proper form. Then, insert the spring into the cartridge and test the movement. The spring must move freely without any sticking. Only if it moves smoothly should you insert the cartridge into the main body. This is a crucial detail for reliable performance.

Initially, I used threaded joints for the table legs (as seen in the photos), but that was a fatal mistake. I didn’t have time to reprint the entire setup, but I switched to a decagonal (10-sided) connection, which works much better. I tested it thoroughly — it performs great.

I understand not many people will commit to a 38-hour print, but I truly hope my effort wasn’t in vain and that you’ll find value in what I’ve created.

Although the assembly is simple and intuitive, here are a few important points to keep in mind during the process:

1. The latch should be inserted with the notch facing downward.

2. The spring must be carefully prepared to ensure smooth movement without any sticking.

3. Only after confirming that the spring works properly should you insert the cartridge into the box.

4. The drawers are inserted with a slight outward flexing of the side walls. The spring will prevent the drawer from fully sliding out.

5. The inner cartridge that acts as a leg lock should be inserted firmly until it clicks into place.

Main features:

  • Automatic drawer deployment
  • Drawers can be accessed without unfolding the table
  • Large tabletop with a unique custom pattern
  • All technical components are fully replaceable
  • Reliable locks on drawers and compartments
  • 7 separate storage sections
  • Designed specifically for OutIn
  • Secure latches prevent accidental opening.
  • Table legs angled at 10° for improved stability, snap-locked when stored.
  • Fully printable and ready for production!

I truly hope you’ll enjoy this project, which took a lot of time, passion, and creativity to bring to life.
