Description

This is a 1:1 scale model of the PFL / RFL-40 Rifle Grenade, designed for use in EOD, UXO, and military instruction. It accurately represents the external features and overall geometry of the live Rifle Grenade, making it ideal for classroom settings, ordnance recognition training, and hands-on instructional use.

This version is designed for visual ID and manipulation — it does not include the cutaway. For those seeking a more in-depth instructional model, a cutaway version is available in the paid file.

Full-scale body replicating real-world dimensions for accurate recognition training

Includes simulated arming features and form-accurate body sections

Printed in multiple colors for instructional clarity and realism

Optimized for durability and repetitive handling in training environments

For added realism, consider repurposing a small toy army man parachute — these are widely available on Amazon. Simply detach the parachute from the toy figure and attach it to the top of the “candle” section.

Training Aid Detail Tip:
If you're using this model as a training aid, apply a small amount of black paint around the vent hole at the base and near the top to simulate realistic soot and burn residue.

Print Recommendations:
Use PETG as the support interface for clean removal, or mix materials for enhanced detail

Use the paint bucket tool in Bambu Studio to match colors to reference images

Print with 4–8 walls and 15–20% gyroid infill for long-term use

 Assembly Notes:
Glue is recommended for permanent builds, especially at joining points

Ensure proper alignment during final bonding

Take care not to deform or obstruct detailed areas during cleanup or support removal
