SwitchBot Lock Ultra adapter

Since I didn’t receive a compatible adapter for my deadbolt with a knob – and because I live in an apartment where I can’t make permanent modifications to the door.  I decided to design my own solution.

This setup uses the 3M adhesive that comes with the SwitchBot Lock Ultra. The adapter is tailored for a deadbolt with a turning knob and is slightly oversized to ensure proper grip. I also created a spacer to reposition the lock and center it with the locking mechanism, since the default placement was misaligned due to the lock’s size. It should also fit within the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Wide Decorative Frame.

You can adjust the Z-height of the spacer to match your door setup.

I’ve been using this configuration for over a week without any issues.
