This fierce trio of bat wall sculptures brings a gothic punch to your space. Each model features a unique take on the classic bat form… from stylized anatomy to snarling expressions… sculpted with dramatic wing textures and sharp details.

All three versions come with 3 different sizes and a cleanly cut flat back and integrated screw hole for easy wall mounting. Whether displayed alone or as a set, these bats strike a bold balance of dark fantasy and functional design… ideal for Halloween décor, themed rooms, or collectors of nocturnal flair.

• [150mm, 200mm] 0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 5% infill

  • Faster printing with standard layers height 

     

• [335mm] Giant Bat 2, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 5% infill
  • Plates:
    1. Head
    2. Right wing
    3. Left wing
  • Assembled size: ~335 × 300 × 130 mm
  • Assembly: Snaps together easily. A tiny seam may remain between wings → add a dot of glue if you want it fully closed.

  • Note: If you scale, scale uniformly so the connectors keep their fit.

     

• [250mm] Giant mini Bat 2, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 5% infill
  • Plates:
    1. Head
    2. Right wing
    3. Left wing
  • Assembled size: ~250 × 225 × 98 mm (≈ 75% of the 335 mm version)
  • Assembly: Snaps together easily; a small wing gap can be closed with a touch of glue if desired.
  • Tip: Uniform scaling preserves the snap fit.

Key Printing Tips:

• Disable “Strength → Detect Thin Wall” → gives smoother, cleaner surfaces on detailed parts.
• Always check the slicing preview in Bambu Studio before starting the print.
• Support removal trick: Cut supports into small chunks first, then gently loosen → they usually pop off cleanly without damage.
• Some plates use lots of supports, if so → for reliable prints use these filament settings:
  • Filament Overrides
    • Z Hop When Retract: 0.6 mm
    • Z Hop Type: Spiral
    • Travel Distance Threshold: 1 mm
    • ✅ Enable Retract When Changing Layer
  • Also, disable these settings in Bambu Studio if Variable Layer height is used:
    • Supports
      • ❌ Disable Independent Support Layer Height
    • Others
      • ❌ Disable Reduce Infill Retraction
    • I’ve found that a 0.15 mm top Z distance works best when printing with variable layer height.
