Boost Me (for free)
Boost me and I'll put out version 2.0 for free! Early tests of V2 shows increased blowing power of 127% compared to version 1! I've gotten a lot of feedback on how to improve the design, looking forward to making that happen!
Stay cool all night without spending hundreds on high-end cooling systems. This 3D printed Bed Fan Cooling System turns a basic Amazon Basics fan into a powerful under-the-sheets airflow solution—perfect for hot sleepers or warm summer nights.
The vertical duct system channels air from the fan directly under your sheets, delivering a consistent, cooling breeze right where you need it most. No more bulky machines, noisy compressors, or overpriced gadgets.
VERSION 2.0 IS HERE!
Why this is better:
- Budget-Friendly: Existing systems cost around $200-$500+ USD. This system only uses 700g of filament and a fan that is under $20 USD.
- DIY and Customizable: Fully 3D printable—adapt it to your bed setup.
- Quiet & Effective: Provides under-the-cover airflow without blasting your face.
This is a simple, practical alternative to expensive bed cooling systems—and it works.
UPDATE
- 6.16.25: 🚀 Version 2 is officially complete! Download here!
I spent the weekend fine-tuning the design and running tests, and honestly — it works almost too good. Bed Rocket V2 will be available on 6.17.25! Huge thanks to everyone for the boosts, feedback, and support — you’ve helped take this project to the next level! - 6.12.25: Version 1.1 is now available for download! Please use print profile for best results.
- 6.11.25: Top Funnel 1.0 was causing significant dynamic pressure loss between the fan and the exit. Version 1.1 delivers a 34% airflow improvement with minimal pressure drop. I’m currently fine-tuning the design and will have the updated file available for download soon. Early tests on Version 2.0 are even more exciting — delivering a massive 127% increase in airflow compared to the original 1.0!
- 6.10.25: Based on user feedback I am test printing an improved top vent to increase airflow. Should be available by end of today.
UPGRADE:
Instead of printing the tubes, you can substitute them for 4" PVC pipe or a 4" dust collector hose with key hose clamps. Will save printing time and filament, and may increase airflow.

Assembly Instructions
- Attach the Funnel
Snap the side hooks onto the funnel and securely latch it onto your Amazon Basics fan. - Position the Fan
Place the fan at the foot of your bed, facing upward. - Add the Tubes & Couplings
Connect the modular tubes and couplings to match the height of your bed. Multiple tube sizes are included for easy adjustment. - Install the Vent
Place the vent on top of the tube stack. Drape your bedsheet over the vent so the airflow stays under the covers. - Power On & Relax
Turn on the fan, hop in bed, and enjoy a cool, refreshing night’s sleep!
