Description

This high-fidelity 3D model of the lumbar spine was generated from real patient CT DICOM data, providing an anatomically accurate representation of the L1 to L5 vertebrae with excellent detail of the vertebral bodies, spinous processes, transverse processes, and intervertebral spacing. The model is ideal for anatomical study, surgical simulation, biomechanical education, and medical 3D printing applications.While the print itself comes out beautifully, removing tree supports (especially from around the spinous and transverse processes) is a pain.

This is not a 3D print, this is an outstanding medical training product. super detailed and true to form, this is where 3D printing leaps into the modern age making education pieces available to all. Ive fitted yellow pipe cleaners to simulate the nerves and green felt for the disc's - what an amazing piece. Almost 17h to print and horrendous support removal but this only serves to highlight the quality and detail in this gold-standard piece of work. Many thanks.
