Description

Glad you're here, hope this model works for you!

Synta-style dovetail finderscope mount. The bottom of the mount has a radius for a 220mm OTA – 7” SkyWatcher180mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope.  Mount has 20mm spacing for mounting holes, to use the M4 x 6mm (.07 pitch) pan head screws. The dovetail uses M6 printed thumbscrews.  My Bambu P1S prints to very tight tolerances, if your printer does not print well, I recommend you lower your print speed, layer height and line width.

I used ELEGOO PLA + with no issues, but you can easily use well-dried PETG.  Print at .16, 4 walls 20% Gyroid, takes 1h 20m and uses 21g of filament for bracket and screws.

__________

Notes: If the model is designed with PLA as the expected material, and you print in PETG, comparably you may have issues as most PETG will shrink about 0.2 – 1.0% variably, and dependent on the parts design.

Please leave a comment, feedback, suggestions, or even a boost if you're feeling generous.  It does help me improve my models and really makes my day.  Be kind, I’m old and still sort of new at this.  Seriously, thank you for printing my models!

Before you go, if you’d take a look at my other models under my profile I’d appreciate it: GrayGav @JGray_3D
