Synta Dovetail Mount for StarPointer Finderscope

Stronger, thicker mount(s) in 20mm, 30mm, and 40mm heights to attach Celestron StarPointer Pro Finderscope into the Synta-style dovetail finderscope mount. The top of the mount fits snugly into the StarPointer’s clamp.  The bottom is the Synta-style dovetail.

Three mounts, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm tall.  I printed them at .20, with 3 wall loops, and 15% Gyroid Sparse Infill.

20mm is 30min print using 11.5g, 30mm is 33min print using 13.5g. 40mm is 37min print using 16g.  I used ELEGOO PLA + with no issues, but you can easily use well-dried PETG.

I have also designed these same mounts with a base to fit a 220mm radius.  That’s the OD of a SkyWatcher 7” 180mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope. I’ve also designed the Synta-style finderscope bracket itself, please check my other uploads.
