Replacement Side Cover for Sony WH-XB900N

This is a remix of the original side cover part for the Sony WH-XB900N headphones, originally created by Stale (available on Printables: https://www.printables.com/model/227772-replacement-side-cover-for-sony-wh-xb900n/files )

While the original part worked, I experienced breakage during regular use. Mainly due to weak layer adhesion at stress points. To address this, I made a few improvements:

• I added a reinforcement bulge on the outer side of the part to strengthen the most fragile area.
• I also rotated the part in space before slicing, which increases the layer cross-section at key stress zones. This significantly improves strength but requires support material during printing.

Even with the reinforcement, the two halves of the cover can sometimes slip apart. To prevent this, I wrapped electrical tape around the assembled part, which helps keep the connection tight and prevents the covers from sliding out of place.

Two print plates are included:

1. Original version by Stale (unchanged, for reference)
2. Remixed version with added reinforcement and rotated orientation for better durability

In the reference photos, I’ve marked the two screws that need to be removed during disassembly with red circles and arrows for clarity.
