Description

This adds length and purchase to the magazine, does not add capacity. Fits factory double stack mags, uses factory spring and floor plate. Made it to fit 9mm mags but expect it will fit 40 and 45 also.

I print with the rear of the mag on the build plate, have used PETG and ASA, both work equally well.

Out of several dozens of these mag bases I have printed from Makersworld, this is the only one that is functional. The base plate clicks right into the retainer plate underneath, as it should. None of the others would. I wish people would make sure their models work before posting here. I am sick of wasting filament for nothing. Thank you for the STL. I am putting these on my new Glock 17L long slide gen5 MOS and to clear my 3d printed magwell. For me it printed best with the back side of the extension on the build plate.

did you make your mag well or did you find it on makrsworld? I am trying to find one, but you hit the nail on the head with sifting through sub par

I just use the presets in Bambu studio… print one and see if you want to make it finer with smaller layer height or stronger with added walls and infill…. they are small so print quickly and don’t use much filament

fits very well perhaps lacks support or something for the edge on the front of the part because of a small mistake or the orientation of the part but still functional

Printed perfectly with Sunlu PETG Basic. Fits my 17rd 9mm magazines and works great.

Possibly the best design of all the ones I've tried, in my case I added a plate between the spring and the extender and this way it is completely blocked in the charger
