Description

This is a wall mount for the Eve Motion sensor https://www.evehome.com/en/eve-motion.

The sensor is a PIR Matter sensor with a simple hanging point from the rear. Unfortunately, I found that this was very unstable when mounted outside. I decided to create a little cradle for the sensor to sit in, which can be properly mounted to a wall without the risk of falling off.

The mount required one screw to in the middle to connect it to the Eve Motion sensor. The mount itself is mounted to the wall through two screws, one in the horizontal plane and one in the vertical one. I would recommend using 6mm wall plugs and screws that match, as long as they hold the mount securely and are flush with the inside of the sunken section.

I recommend using a harder-wearing material, such as PETG, instead of PLA when creating mounts for outdoor environments.
