Optimized protection for all your outdoor DIY projects – STEP & Fusion 360 files included

Desert Fury is a rugged enclosure specifically designed to protect your outdoor electronics projects, no matter which microcontroller you use (Raspberry Pi, ESP32, Arduino, etc.). Dustproof and splash-resistant thanks to integrated TPU gaskets, it ensures optimal protection for your components.

With a generous internal space (135 × 80 × 40 mm) and a removable 5 mm mounting plate, Desert Fury makes it easy to install your boards, sensors, or screens.

Recommended hardware :

• 16x M3 socket head screws
• 16x M3 brass heat inserts (4.5 × 4 mm)

Material & print tips :

• The box is suitable for PETG and PLA. PLA is not recommended for high-heat or high-humidity environments.
  For PETG printing:
• Heated bed: 70–80 °C
• Moderate speed: 40–60 mm/s
• Check retraction and print temps based on filament brand.
• Ensure good bed adhesion.

Practical uses

• Weather station: Ventilation-ready panels, quick sensor mounting (e.g. BMP280, DHT22)
• IoT GPS tracker: Space for LiPo battery and LoRa modules, ideal for secure outdoor use
• Outdoor camera: Easy lens attachment, compact fit for Raspberry Pi Zero or similar boards

MakerWorld advice

• Always test waterproofing in controlled conditions before long-term outdoor use.
• Splash-proof only – not suitable for full submersion.
