Hello Makers!
I present to you my latest design: A versatile, 3D-printable stretching frame, perfect for your canvases or pictures measuring 270 x 220 x 10 mm. This model was developed to provide a simple and effective solution for stretching artwork.
The model consists of four precisely designed main segments that easily assemble to form a sturdy frame. Particular attention was paid to optimal tension for canvases, ensuring they are presented smoothly and wrinkle-free.
Features of this 3D model:
- Modular Design: The individual components are designed for easy printing and straightforward assembly.
- Optional Back Frame: The design also includes the STL files for a matching back frame. This can be screwed on to give the stretched image additional stability and create a neat back.
- Easy Assembly: The design features integrated holes for screwing the parts together and for the optional back frame. Standard wood screws are suitable for this (example images show the application).
- Versatility: Ideal for artists, hobbyists, or anyone who wants to design their own picture frames cost-effectively and individually.
