Description
This air vent cover is designed to update and upgrade your existing 10x6 insert.
The tolerances are a little tighter than your standard, metal unit but it slips in nicely and self secures with two tension clips:
For upgraded security, there are four pre “drilled” holes for guiding sheet metal screws:
There are two cross bars that “lock” into place with small inserts on each side:
The bottom screen slides onto the bottom legs of the cross bars (tension seems enough to keep these secure but there are also slots for 5x2 magnets to add more strength):
I am currently using these in a small bathroom where straight down airflow is fine, but I have also designed different directional fins that will mount on top of the cross bars:
I will be designing and releasing additional screens for more style options and integrated directional flow.
