Sculpfun iCube Fume Extraction

Surely you bought the iCube thinking that, thanks to cutting in a “closed” environment, its fan, and its filters, you could use it comfortably at home. Only to discover sooner than later that the screen doesn't close correctly many times, and that the filter doesn't eliminate odors completely, making its indoor use impossible.

Before this model, I had another device, completely open, to which I bought a kind of fireproof tent with an exhaust system and a tube that led them to a certain distance. And I must admit that, while it did not allow its use indoors, it did prevent smoke and odors from concentrating too much. So I decided to replicate it. For which I designed two pieces, one that replaces the original grid that only protects the fan, and another on which an extensible tube is mounted. Joined by a closing system and two magnets.

This is the profile for component B, in which the tube is inserted, the measurement is adapted precisely to the one I am using in my machine (below I leave the link where it can be purchased), but if you want other measurements, request it in the comments and I will make the necessary adaptations to then publish it. In both cases I have printed the pieces in PETG, with a pause to install the magnets and for two more layers to be printed covering them.
