Aorte – Jewelry Stand Inspired by the Human Heart

This jewelry stand isn’t just functional – it tells a story.
A close friend of mine, who works as a nurse in a hospital, once told me how fascinating she found the structure of the human aorta. Half-joking, she said, “Imagine having an aorta as a jewelry stand – I’d use that every day.” That idea stuck with me. As a designer and maker, I decided to take on the challenge.

Aorte is the result: a sculptural jewelry stand inspired by the elegant curvature of the human aorta.
To enhance its practicality, I extended the main arc and added additional arterial-like branches. These create more space to organize multiple pieces of jewelry – from rings and bracelets to necklaces and earrings – while still maintaining a sleek, organic form.

But Aorte is more than a jewelry holder. With its anatomical inspiration and minimalist design, it also serves as an eye-catching decorative piece. Whether placed on a vanity, shelf, or living room sideboard – it brings a subtle artistic statement to any space.
