Summary

In honor of the 81st Anniversary of the WW2 D-Day landings on June 6th, 1944, I am releasing a high detail 1:70 scale Higgins Landing Craft model along with a beach landing stand.  There's an AMS and a non-AMS version so you can print this on any printer.  The model requires no glue, just snap a few pieces together.

The Higgin's Landing Craft is the iconic boat used on D-Day to land allied troops in Normandy, France.  We've likely all seen movies and games and shows depicting these landings, such as Call of Duty, Saving Private Ryan, and Band of Brothers.

Bambu Filaments used were:

  • Matte Ashe Gray
  • Matte Dark Red
  • Matte White
  • Metal Blue
  • Matte Latte Brown
  • Metal Iron Gray Black

Assembly is super simple and only takes a minute at most:

  1. Use the two pegs to connect the water to the beach
  2. Snap on the landing ramp to the front of the boat (they are relatively strong hinges, but small, so be gentle if you can)
  3. Snap on the propeller under the boat, you can slide it in at and angle
  4. Snap in the steering wheel
  5. Place the two gun turrets in the two holes

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!
