Description

USS Sulaco Conestoga class light assault starship model from the Aliens movie.

Printed in Sunlu PLA Grey.

This is a remix of a remix, original model from Knieper1 and then was fixed and cut for printing by michrobi and the stand is from leobueno then I creted a print profile to make it printable. I did go through a few tries to get it right.

Be careful not to break the antenas after printing.

Nice little build, I upscale it slightly to 120% and the cut the largest part in half to fit on the A1 Mini. I made the connecting rods and holes in the piece I cut to make it go together like the other pieces. Nice model.

Maybe you could make a print profile one day for A1 mini users.

I'll give it a go. I'll have to look into it as I'm pretty new to 3D Printing. I think I may still have the file somewhere on my PC.

Excellent 👍, no flaws, only the fine tips of the upper part don't finish well on the A1 I will try it on the carbon

Very nice model. Easy assembly and good holder. Easy support removal. The antennas in the front were not perfect to print, but good enough.

It strings a bit on the antenas, its better to dry the filament first, it helps a lot.

Super shared and easy to assemble, optics 10/10. Scaled up to 131% which was the max for my P2S, length now exactly 55cm. I also created my own brackets for my acoustic panel. Will dry brush with silver a bit in the coming days and that's it

I up scaled it to 180%, its about 24"inches long and looks amazing. The model was a little flawed in that some bits are not attached to the model and floated in space. Those bits were small and few, so it didn't really matter in the end. Still a great model.
