First flush rain collector for shed
Print Profile(1)

Description
V1.0
A rain collection from a gutter to fit a 40mm OD down pipe, It will allow connection to a 20mm pipe threaded or push fit to a water butt with a secondary overflow to a 2nd water butt using a std 16mm OD 13mm ID pipe.
The first flush process will fill up the lower down pipe with all the stuff from your roof and once full will then filter and flow to your water butt.
The down pipe full of the first flush water and stuff will drip and slowly empty for the next rain event. It will require to be emptied of all the detritus when full.
The main body on plate one is in a particular position for max cooling during fast printing so it will not warp. Each component has its own object settings where needed including variable height for correct printing of threads.
I've included TPU sealing washers if needed but remember the down pipe collection sections should leak a little so it drains over time for the next rain event
All parts are 3D printed and no need for anything extra unless you don't want to use the pipe sections for the output to the water butt.
The over flow has a TPU plug if you don't want to use it. I used a 16mm gardena drip system pipe to connect it to a second water butt. I'll add a float valve to the main water butt so that when full will cause it to over flow.
I've included a mounting bracket to secure the down pipe flush collector as it will be heavy when full of water.
The top of the main body is only a push fit.
