Description

Being short and unable to mount a varia to my bike with a saddle bag attached I decided to create the following solution.

This uses hardware included in the Varia and topeak kit. this might fit other topeak bags if the mounting system is the same (pics  to show you)

Created to print with no supports, strengthened on one side to make it stable, lightly braces on the bag for added stability, when removed full bag access is available for easy access to the bag, ensures it is clear of mudguards, panier racks and other rear items.

To fit you remove the screws from the seat post varia mount and use this to remount to this new bracket. The topeak needs one screw removing and this bracket sandwiches between and bolts back on. the nature of the design means it will not twist as it locates on the 2 posts in the back bracket.

The saddle back is still easy to remove via the clip.

Hopefully this solves a small first world problem.
