Hans Grohe iBox Universal 2 wall plate

This custom-designed wallplate simplifies the installation process of the Hansgrohe iBox 2 Universal. It is designed to be used with M8 threaded rods and offers two mounting options:

• Embed in concrete during wall construction
• Screw-mount onto an existing surface

🧵 Recommended Material

• PETG for durability and moderate heat resistance
• ASA or ABS if used in wall sections exposed to high temperatures
• PLA+ can be used for testing or non-permanent installations

🔧 Assembly Notes

1. Insert M8 threaded rods into the guide holes of the wallplate.
2. Either:
   • Mount the plate to the wall using screws (through the pre-drilled holes), or
   • Embed it in concrete during wall construction for a fixed installation.
3. Attach the Hansgrohe iBox 2 and adjust its depth and alignment along the threaded rods.
4. Secure the box in position using M8 nuts and washers.
