Lance of Longinus(Spear of Longinus) in Evangelion

This is based on the Lance of Longinus (AKA: Spear of Longinus) in Evangelion by @Kakeru Cobo, but modified to make it easier to print on an FDM printer.

First of all, thank you @KakeruNekobeya for your beautiful work. This is one of my favorites, and it is closer to the TV series than other models.

On the original model:

1. I scaled it so that the entire height is now 250mm, which is more in line with the proportions of the 18cm high EVA Unit-01 model in my hand.

2. The model was split to improve stability on the FDM printing platform.

3. A protective shell was made to ensure that the part will not shake with the hot end nozzle when printing small parts.

This model has a high X-Y gap requirement for the printer, so it is recommended to perform hole compensation calibration first.

It is recommended to use PLA for printing, and PETG has not been tried yet, as it is more viscous than PLA and will fail more easily.

Here are the steps to remove the support:

1. Spearhead part
- Use a utility knife to cut off the top cover.

- Remove the support bottom, shake and pull out the spearhead.

1. Spear body
- Use a utility knife to divide the support into sections of approximately 3 cm each.

- Pull the tail hard and shake it slightly left and right to make the bonded support fall off, then rotate it according to the direction of the spear body spiral to pull out the support.

- Cut along the inner contour of the bottom to remove the entire spear from the casing.

- Then you can remove the brim and the bottom support.

If everything goes well, congratulations! You will get the following parts: two spear heads, a spear body, and a lot of support.

Next you just need to use super glue to combine these parts and you are done, adding new members to your Dummy 13 or other character's arsenal.
