Description
Micro Benchy in a Bottle – Super Small Edition
This ultra-tiny 3D printed Benchy is scaled down to a micro size and sealed inside a clear, bottle-shaped enclosure printed in transparent PETG. Complete with a miniature cork and custom bottle stand, this print is as challenging as it is satisfying.
The precision needed to capture the Benchy's details at such a small scale, and then encapsulate it in a clear bottle makes this a true test of your printer’s capabilities.
A fun, conversation-starting project for makers who love pushing limits!
How to Make
Bottle Profiles:
- 0.4mm Nozzle - Best result for minimal layer lines and clarity
- 0.8mm Nozzle - Tests show it looks slightly clearer but more visible layer lines
Print the Bottle in Transpaerant PETG, pause and insert the mini benchy, I found dropping in the benchy without the pause gave the cleanest results, but this needs skill and perfect timing.
Plug the end with a Cork and Display the finished model on the included stand
TIP: Make sure the PETG is completely dry before printing, other wise you'll see spots and bubbles on the bottle.
Disclaimer: Not suitable for children under 5 years old — contains small parts.
