Description

Pony bead design! Works well with PLA variants. I have been unlucky using PETG translucent.

I'm using a supertack cool plate, if you're using a normal plate the initial layer may need to be slower.

I suggest the supertack plate or a smooth plate for a nice finish :)

Nice beads. They came out great, even in different sizes I tried.

I've scaled the Z axis 40mm tall for cuffs before and they worked out! Glad to hear that trying different sizes worked!

To anyone reading, if you scale Z up you're gonna really want to use that super tack plate or keep a close eye on a freshly glued plate

what is the id size and the od size?

I think the original model has an OD of 8mm. I’ve had good results scaling the diameter to 9mm and the height to 6mm. I’m not sure what the ID is to be honest. sorry for the late reply, I’ve been really busy lately

ID size let's you know what thickness cord can go through the bead. Are any of the dimensions editable?

I know what ID means, I didn't know the value of it when I responded. The ID is about 3.4mm in diameter. Most slicers are going to let you scale the whole model on the build plate.

worked the first time until it stopped working :( if anybody can give me tips that would be helpful 🙂👍

The prints could be failing for a few different reasons. if it’s not adhering to the build plate, I suggest cleaning the build plate or using a glue stick.
