Description

This is a 3D printable mold designed specifically for making kofta kebabs on standard wooden skewers (churrasco sticks). The mold is composed of two parts (top and bottom) that press together to shape the meat evenly around the skewer.

One of the key features of this mold is that it allows you to create stuffed kofta, something that is not possible with many other mold designs. You can easily insert fillings like cheese, herbs, or spices before sealing the mold.

The model was printed in PLA with 3 wall lines (perimeters) and 15% infill, which provides a good balance of strength and print time. However, it’s very important to ensure that the food does not come into direct contact with the 3D printed surface. Always use a protective layer, such as food-safe plastic wrap or baking parchment, between the mold and the meat.

This mold is intended for use with common wooden skewers used for BBQs (approximately 4 mm in diameter). The design ensures the kofta stays firmly attached to the skewer and holds its shape during cooking.

Notes:

  • 3D printed parts are not food-safe without proper sealing or protection.
  • Easy to print without supports.

Enjoy making your homemade stuffed kofta kebabs with this practical and unique tool!
