ROYAL PALACE OF VENARIA - Turin

I present a faithful, perfectly proportioned digital reconstruction of the Royal Palace of Venaria in Turin. This model not only represents an iconic piece of architecture belonging to the Savoy family but also evokes the same feeling of sophistication and majesty experienced when observing it in person. To enhance the sense of realism and proportion, cars have been included, and every constructive detail has been meticulously crafted down to the millimeter. The entire project required several weeks of work and is not yet in its final stage, but with good intentions for future versions, I am beginning to post this one. I recommend using only a 0.2mm nozzle, as many of the architectural details are very small and would not be rendered with a 0.4mm nozzle.

Printing Characteristics

The model was created with my A1 Mini and is compatible with all higher-end printers. The project was developed using various software, and the printing settings have been optimized to minimize production time and filament volume.

• No supports needed

• ~62 g of material for printing

• Printing time: 16 hours and ~10 minutes

• No post-print work required

Recommended Printing Settings

• Print with nozzle: 0.2mm

• Print bed: textured PEI Bambu (standard one)

• Print material: Bambulab PLA Basic (colors of your choice, but I suggest white)

• Layer height: variable from 0.06 to 0.14 mm

• Initial layer height: 0.1mm

• Wall generator: Classic

• Initial layer speed: standard

• External wall speed: standard

• Internal wall speed: standard

Ensure that the first layer is perfect and adheres to the bed. If you encounter adhesion problems, make sure the bed is clean and use a glue stick if necessary (with similar models, this is rarely needed).

Personal Note

I hope you like the model and that it meets your expectations; I was particularly passionate about this project, and completing it was a great personal satisfaction. I recognize that it only has decorative value, but I hope to create others in the future and perhaps build a collection area. For now, I would like to thank anyone who appreciates this project!
