Compact Buckle for Lashing Straps / Ratchet Straps
Print Profile(3)

Description
I have a large quantity of lashing straps and ratchet straps for securing cargo on my trailer – neatly sorted in a large box, color-coded by length. I like order and organization! But what has always annoyed me: After winding them up, the things tend to unwind themselves.
I have tried several things: rubber bands (constantly lost or break), small bags (cumbersome), a clever winding technique (works – but only if you master it). At some point, I had seen a similar buckle, but never found it again. So: design it myself!
This small buckle reliably holds the wound strap together. The special feature: Inside sits a small “spring” that rests in the grooves of the strap, ensuring a really good hold. It can be attached and removed in a flash. Because it is so narrow, it can also be easily attached to the “roundness” of the strap. And the best thing: Even 20 pieces still easily fit in my pocket.
I designed the buckle for 25 mm straps, but it also holds very well with wider ratchet straps. For very wide straps, you can simply attach a buckle on both sides.
👉 One size fits all!
I have created two print profiles: one for a single buckle and one for 20 pieces in one go.
If the buckle helps you and you also like order in the strap chaos, I would be thrilled to receive your feedback 😊
