Multiboom Magsafe \ Multiboard

Description

This is a multi-boom ecosystem adapter designed to enable mounting of MagSafe accessories using the Multi-Boom system. I created this to bring MagSafe compatibility into my Multiboom/Multiboard in a way to give me flexibility for change and adjustments.

There are two versions included:

• 56mm variant – fits older-style MagSafe mounts.
• 55.5mm variant – fits newer-generation MagSafe dimensions (Apple’s updated spec).

Also included are puck inserts that replicate the Apple MagSafe geometry. These allow you to stick a third-party MagSafe-compatible magnet (like ones from AliExpress) directly to the puck, enabling any MagSafe-compatible device—like iPhones—to magnetically mount without requiring a charger.

I personally use this mount for hands-free filming when I need my phone aimed steadily at a subject. I also have another version mounted nearby when I want my phone visible and facing me for quick reference during work or recording. Because the puck is modular, I can pop it out and insert a full MagSafe charger if I ever need active charging instead of passive mounting.

To prevent the puck from slipping in high-torque or angled positions, the design includes threaded screw holes so you can secure the puck into the mount using standard mid-size multi-boom screws. This adds reliability when filming vertically or when the phone is positioned in tension.

If you want Magsafe with Multiboom then this is for you. Also because Multiboom uses a Multiboard mid size screw you can screw the mount directly into Multiboard's mid size holes
