Recommended Print Settings
- Infill: 20% simple Grid
- chosen for balance between strength and material usage
- Walls: 3 walls
- You may use 4 walls for even more water tightness
- Top & bottom shell layers: 5
- You may use up to 8 layers for even more water tightness
- Supports: Not needed – the model was designed to print clean without support
Post-Printing
- Always do a leak test before using it with liquid soap
- Just fill it with water and leave it on a tissue paper overnight to check
- I tested it with foaming pumps from Aliexpress and (Rossmann EU) – both fit perfectly.
I personally recommend the Aliexpress version due to its better quality.
Material & Filament Notes
- Tested Filament: PLA-silk
- My PLA-silk bottle has lasted over 5 months with daily use, no leaks so far
- Recommended Filament: PETG
- PETG is more suitable long-term since it’s food-safe, stronger, and better with water exposure
- Avoid: ABS or any similar material that are not food safe
- Not recommended PLA: PLA generally can't handle long water exposure since it tends to absorb moisture and can swell, weaken, or crack over time thus loosing it is water tightness.
