Beyond replicating the basic form of the eight-winged angel, the canard wings, flaps, and tailplanes are all articulated, allowing for a variety of aerial combat poses.
The J-20 (codename: Mighty Dragon) is a fifth-generation heavy stealth fighter jet independently developed by China. Developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Design Institute of AVIC, it successfully completed its maiden flight on January 11, 2011, and officially entered service with the People's Liberation Army Air Force in 2017. Its core features include:
High Stealth Performance: Employing a diamond-shaped nose, DSI air intake, S-shaped ducting, and stealth coating, significantly reducing its radar cross-section;
Advanced Aerodynamic Layout: A unique “canard wing + strake wing + lifting body” integrated design enhances supersonic maneuverability and agility;
Powerful Combat Capabilities: Equipped with an active electronically scanned array radar, an integrated avionics system, and internal weapon bays, supporting beyond-visual-range strikes and multi-target coordinated operations;
Domestic Upgrade: Subsequent upgrades include domestically produced turbofan engines and comprehensively upgraded avionics systems, achieving a “Chinese heart”.
The J-20's entry into service marks the Chinese Air Force's ascension to the ranks of a strategic air force, becoming a core force in safeguarding aerospace security.
