When you want to eat, watch videos, or rest in your car while parked, a phone holder that hangs on the steering wheel is very useful

• The simple splines incorporate multiple user-friendly details, with Bambu Lab icons added, secured with super glue for multi-color matching without AMS
• If your steering wheel is unusually shaped, you can stretch the dimensions appropriately for printing
• When used in summer, the car interior temperature is high; to avoid deformation, please print with higher temperature-resistant materials such as PETG/ABS

*In mid-2024, I really wanted a steering wheel phone holder like this, so I printed some of the more popular types, including foldable, assembled, and clamp-on versions

They met my usage needs but also had various drawbacks (poor portability, inconvenience before and after use, too bulky for storage). I had always wanted to make one myself and had designed various styles such as screw-clamping, spring-clamping, and foldable hanging, but none truly satisfied me

In a project, I came across the design of a remote controller holder for an agricultural drone and gained access to relevant parameters, which were successfully commercialized after design. I then modified the source file, retaining the data for the steering wheel grip, and refined it to create this phone holder

Even now, it is still not the final version; for a public model, it is too simple, even a simple wire could perform this function, but I really like it, and I believe it can help many people. Later, I will make it with features like folding and telescoping; I believe those won't be as easy to use as the current version, but websites tend to prefer models with complex parts
