An adorable chibi submarine, perfect as an ornament or a handheld toy, printable in just over an hour.
The propeller uses rubber bands for propulsion, allowing it to float on water. However, the rubber band power is short-lived, providing only a brief, intriguing demonstration rather than extended movement—ideal for showing children basic mechanical principles.
I've created two propeller sizes; the larger one is more aesthetically pleasing but prone to capsizing underwater, whereas the smaller one offers better underwater control.
The submarine's base can accommodate several weights to lower its center of gravity for stability and to control its diving depth.
In short, this is a simple yet highly engaging toy. If you enjoy it, please consider supporting me. Thank you!
Assembly Steps:
Step 1: First, pass the propeller drive shaft through the spacer ring, then thread the rubber band through the hole in the drive shaft. It is recommended to first use a thin string to guide the rubber band through the hole.

Step 2: Simultaneously pass both ends of the rubber band through the rear hole of the submarine and forcefully pull the propeller into position.

Step 3: Hook both ends of the rubber band onto the posts on the submarine's head, and add weights to the compartment as needed.

Step 4: Align the upper half with the four mounting posts to complete the assembly.
