Description

I designed a 384-well PCR plate that fits standard plates used for RTPCR.  As far as I'm aware this is the first publicly available 384-well plate holder design, possibly for good reason - it's a bit of a challenge to get the walls between the small holes to turn out well.

For that reason I suggest using a 0.2mm nozzle which is required for a good quality finish on surfaces and holes, and comes out excellent.  If anything slow the first layer a bit more.

That said, I uploaded a 0.4mm profile since you can get a perfectly functional plate holder using a 0.4mm nozzle - the caveat being that the top surface and inside of the holes will be a bit rough (see comparison photo).  I spent a lot of time adjusting and trying out different settings, however I could not achieve a smooth top surface even with an H2D.   Therefore I don't recommend it, but if you want to produce a plate holder quickly or would like to to take a shot at making it work better than I could, please go for it.

0.4 mm profile specifics - key line widths minimized, classic walls (arachne comes out poorly), slightly smaller holes via XY hole compensation to allow classic walls to work properly, slow first layer and moderately slow outer walls, acceleration adjusted down.
