Recursive Cube Fractal | Level 3 | Attached Base

Annnyway…

I created this model in FreeCAD by manually repeating a process of copying and mirroring cubes. The attached base was made by cutting and mirroring parts of the existing geometry, and it also orients the model so it prints cleanly without supports. Because of the extreme angles, I highly recommend using a large brim. I used an 8 mm brim for mine and it worked out great.

Here are the print settings I used for the Bambu Lab P1P (3MF included):

Filament Type: Co-extrusion Silk PLA (I used Sovol brand, “Blue, Yellow, & Fuchsia”)
Layer Height: 0.2 mm layers / 0.2 mm base layer
Infill: Gyroid, 10%
Supports: None
Brim: Use a large brim for stability (I used 8 mm)
Seam Position: Aligned
Bottom Surface Pattern: Hilbert Curve (optional)
