Miniature CCTV Model for Side-Mounting on Monitor

This is a miniature CCTV model designed to be attached to the side of a monitor using magnets.

Finishing Tips

  • For the lens, paint the center with a small amount of red acrylic paint, then apply a drop of UV resin on top to create a realistic lens effect.
  • The CCTV cable was made using a cut piece of TPU filament, but any flexible wire or rubber material can be used as an alternative.

Printing and Assembly Notes

  • Be careful when removing supports, as some parts can be fragile and may break easily.
  • The mounting pin is designed to fit tightly, so insert it slowly and with caution to avoid damage.

  • Slide the hinge part into the gap inside the body, align it by twisting, and then gently push it down to lock it in place.

Assemble Guide

Glue the magnet in place and insert the fiber rod.

Use a toothpick to apply UV resin into the lens, filling it slightly domed, then cure it.

Glue the back plate and cut off the extra part of the fiber rod with nippers.

Cut the wire to a suitable length, insert it into the hole at the bottom of the CCTV body, and glue it to the back plate.
